My name is Ma Teresa Montes De Oca, and more than a quarter of a century ago, I made the most beautiful and life-changing decision of my life: to open the doors of my home and my heart to care for, protect, and educate the greatest treasures of the Chicago community.
A Story of Love and Vocation That Began in Chicago
I came to this wonderful city with a clear vision: to provide a safe haven where the children of working families would not only be cared for, but deeply loved and encouraged to succeed in a bilingual world.
Today, with more than 25 years of uninterrupted experience and backed by my Illinois State License, I look back and feel a deep sense of pride at having watched entire generations grow up. Many of the babies I held in my arms decades ago now return to my door as working parents, entrusting their own children to my care. That is my greatest reward.

Over the years, I have learned that a child’s brain needs to feel safe and loved before it can learn. My approach is different from that of a traditional daycare; here, we combine the structure of an excellent educational curriculum with the irreplaceable warmth of a mother.
